The FxPro broker was founded in 2006 in Cyprus, with the aim of reshaping online trading for both retail and institutional clients. FxPro has grown rapidly and today serves over 1.3 million clients in more than 170 countries. FxPro offers CFDs (contracts for difference) on 6 asset classes. This broker has received numerous awards: it has been named the best Forex provider by the Financial for nine consecutive years, and earned the distinction of best trading platform in 2020.
FxPro is a broker offering over 2100 trading instruments. These are CFDs on many underlying assets: shares, indices, metals, energies, futures, cryptocurrencies, and currencies (Forex). CFDs (contracts for difference) allow trading on underlying assets, whether prices rise or fall, with leverage.
FxPro lets you trade 70 major, minor, and exotic currency pairs on Forex, CFDs on shares of over 275 global companies, and around thirty popular cryptocurrencies.
Below is a list of the financial instruments offered by FxPro:
FxPro provides its clients with competitive spreads, which vary depending on the instrument and the platform, along with very fast order execution (under 13 milliseconds) through a No Dealing Desk model. Clients using the cTrader account, which covers Forex, metals, indices, energies, cryptocurrencies, enjoy narrower spreads plus a fee of 35 US dollars for every million traded. Spreads float on indices, energies, and cryptos, and swap fees are charged if you hold a position overnight. MT4 or MT5 users pay no commissions, though a small markup is added to the spread.
Below is an overview of the spreads for key instruments offered by FxPro:
These fees consist of the spread—competitive but variable at FxPro—and the swap if you hold positions overnight. For shares, the swap value is calculated as an annual percentage, divided by the number of days you hold the position. For indices, for example, on a short position of two lots (2.0) in the FTSE100, with a short swap rate of -0.4498 points and one overnight hold, the swap fees amount to -0.90 pounds sterling.
On MT4 and MT5, which let you trade forex, shares, metals, indices, energies, futures, and cryptocurrencies, order sizes start at 0.01 lots, and FxPro quotes a minimum spread of 1 pip.
For example, on the major pair EUR/USD using the cTrader platform, fees consist of a low spread—around 0.20 with an average of 0.29—plus £0.35 per £10k traded (converted from the original dollar reference). On MT4, the spread is floating at around 1.40 with an average of 1.47, and a fixed spread of 1.80 is also available. On MT5, it is about 1.20 with an average of 1.30 pips.
For cryptos, the spread can vary widely depending on the instrument and market conditions.
FxPro provides several platforms for clients. There are two proprietary platforms (cTrader and the FxPro platform) as well as two MetaTrader-based platforms: MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5.
The FxPro Platform has a customizable interface, multiple advanced trading widgets, over 50 technical indicators, and extensive charting tools, featuring 6 chart types and 15 different time frames.
The cTrader platform lets you trade all asset classes except shares, with a slightly different pricing model offering tighter spreads. It includes all the essential tools for trading—and more: over 55 technical indicators, 6 chart types, and 28 time frames, various order types including trailing stops, the ability to integrate trading bots, market sentiment analysis, news and an economic calendar, as well as detailed statistical analysis of your trades.
You can also choose MT4 or MT5, which are both popular and offer all the expected functionalities.
FxPro offers both its FxPro and cTrader platforms as mobile apps for iOS and Android. They allow you to manage your trades from your smartphone with ease and efficiency. They are user-friendly, secure, include ample indicators and time frames, and support multiple price alert notifications.
MT4 and MT5 also feature robust and useful mobile apps.
FxPro is a trusted broker, and its activity is regulated by several authorities: the ACF (the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK), the CySEC (Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission), the FSCA (South African regulator), and the SCB (Securities Commission of the Bahamas).
FxPro is a top-tier broker for trading CFDs and Forex. The fees are very competitive, and the choice of platforms—including cTrader and MetaTrader 4 and 5—is particularly appealing. Moreover, negative balance protection and the advanced functionalities of the platforms ensure a safe and efficient trading experience. However, FxPro may not be the best fit for beginners, as it is more oriented toward experienced traders who can fully exploit its sophisticated tools and algorithmic trading options.

Hi, guys! I already have an account with FxPro since 2014. Until now they are very good and provide high-level services. I did very good profit lately and they didn’t interfere in my trades. Always withdraw my funds without any issues. I don’t have any problems with them at all, so I think this suggests that they are very reliable and honest company.
